Biography
Of Maryanne Preston
Maryanne Preston formed Hiring Solutions
in 1999 to help companies select, hire, and retain the great employees. She
provides companies with strategies, assessments, and tools that enable them to
hire honest, productive employees and build effective management teams. Her
clients are small, medium, and large companies all over the United States in a
variety of industries, including construction, material handling, finance,
banking, computer training, medical offices and many more. |
Ms. Preston has been in sales and
management for over fifteen years. Before starting her company, she directed
the assessment division for a recruiting company for three years and assisted
in recruiting outside sales representatives.
Ms. Preston is a member of
The National Association of Women Business Owners and Vice president of its St.
Louis Chapter, The Human Resource Management Association, The Hispanic Chamber
of Commerce and The Fenton Area Chamber of Commerce. She has served on the St.
Louis Small Business Week Awards committee for six years and chaired the
Nominating Sub-Committee of the St. Louis Small Business Week Awards committee
for two years. In 2002, she was selected as the Managing Director of e-Women
Network, Inc. in St. Louis and a Member of its Board of Directors. She has been
published and conducts seminars and keynotes for chambers and associations.
Ms. Preston graduated from San Francisco State University with a BA cum
Laude in Psychology. She has lived in St. Louis since
1979.
